Step 1: Go to www.uj.ac.za/Apply to complete the application form. You do not have to pay any application fee.
Step 2: You can apply for two programmes. If you are successful in the two programmes, you shall select the one you wish to study. Please ensure you meet the minimum requirements for the programmes you would have chosen.
Step 3: Upload all the required documents. If you are applying for postgraduate studies, you must visit your faculty for additional documents that may be required. You can also send your documents via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Step 1: Get an application form from the campuses or download it on www.uj.ac.za.
Step 2: Choose a maximum of two programmes you would wish to study that meet your qualifications
Step 3: Pay a non-refundable application fee of R200 if you do not have a UJ student number in the university’s bank:

Step 4: Submit your application at any of the campuses
You can start checking your application status after three weeks
The university will send you an email if you are successful
You must submit your complete academic records/transcripts, certificates or degrees.
You must qualify for matriculation exemption, visit www.mb.usaf.ac.za.if you are applying for an undergraduate programme or have your qualifications evaluated by SAQA at www.saqa.org.za if you are applying for postgraduate programmes. Submit certified copies of your passport, valid study permit and medical Aid.
