Mnambithi TVET College is the merger of the Ladysmith and Ezakheni technical colleges and Ezakheni Ex-college of Education and Ezakheni Skills Centre. Situated in Ladysmith and Estcourt in the KwaZulu-Natal midlands, the college comprises of five campuses. Mnambithi TVET College offers courses in various fields; campuses do not offer all courses available at the college.

What do International Students need to have to qualify for enrolment at a TVET College?

  • A copy of your asylum seeker status or passport valid to cover the period of study
  • A completed application forms
  • Evaluated certificates by SAQA
  • Study permit
  • Police clearance from their country
  • An unabridged birth certificate
  • Full fees upon registration as there are no fees payment plans for you

Are you in need of financial assistance to enrol at a TVET College?

  • NSFAS was established to help financially needy students who have the potential to enrol at TVET college but can not afford the fees.

Who qualifies for NSFAS Funding?

  • Any South African citizen currently studying or plans on studying at a public TVET College but can not afford to do so due to financial constraints.

Documents required to apply for NSFAS Funding

3x Certified copies of Student ID/smart card (front and back of Smart Card on the same page).

3x Certified copies of Parents/Guardian ID/smart card (front and back of Smart Card on the same page)

3xCertified copies of death certificates

3x Certified copies of Highest Qualifications.

3x Certified copies of Proof of Residence.

3x Certified copies of Affidavit of Income of Parents/Guardian for NSFAS.

Can students with special needs enrol at a TVET College

Students with special needs are welcome to apply for a placement at the college. I want you to know that physical needs will be accommodated wherever possible. If you could add additional costs to make your learning much more conducive, you will be asked to bear the extra cost.
