International Students

International students are welcome to enrol at Motheo TVET College and must submit the following documents when applying and registering:

  • Valid Passport
  • Valid Study Permit. Apply for the study permit, which covers the whole period of your chosen course two months before the commencement of your studies
  • SAQA Evaluation certificate. Visit saqa.org.za to have your certificates evaluated.
  • Proof of total tuition fees payment

Bursaries

Through the Department of Higher Education and Training, the South African Government established the DHET Bursary Scheme to assist its citizens from disadvantaged backgrounds to access TVET Colleges education. NSFAS administers the bursary.

Who is eligible to apply for the NSFAS bursary?

South African citizens with demonstrated potential to excel at TVET colleges but have financial constraints to pay tuition fees can apply for the bursary.

How to apply for NSFAS Funding?

Visit www.nsfas.org.za to access the application form, complete it and upload the required documents. Required documents are sent to NSFAS via email: apply@nsfas.org.za or post them to NSFAS, Private Bag X4, Plumstead, 7801.
