Mthashana TVET College is situated in the Northern Region of KwaZulu – Natal across three district councils: Zululand, uMkhanyakude and uMzinyathi District Municipalities. Its catchment area is a rural setting characterised by high levels of unemployment and poverty. Like any other public TVET college, the college also offers high-quality programmes in various fields.

Bursaries

Do you wish to enrol at Mthashana TVET College but have financial constraints to meet the fees?

NSFAS Bursaries

You may apply for this bursary by visiting the NSFAS website http://www.nsfas.org.za/. This bursary scheme was established to financially help eligible students to enrol at public TVET colleges and universities. The bursary will cover your fees, accommodation, personal care allowance and transport costs. NSFAS bursary is only for South African students, and you must be registered or intend to register at a TVET college. TVET Colleges campuses announce the application dates.

The Department of Higher Education  and Training (DHET) TVET Colleges Bursary Scheme Mthashana TVET College

You may apply for this bursary at your campus. DHET established this bursary scheme to help students who have the potential to excel at NC(V) and Report 191 programmes but would not be able to enrol without financial aid. Bursaries are awarded based on the state of financial need and your academic performance.
